1960s - Justus 5

The college group 1962-3. It didn't last long but it morphed into other bands and I continued to work with Roy Truman on far right of first photo for another twenty years

1970s Swegas

Swegas was a Jazz Rock Band formed in 1970 influenced by the likes of Blood Sweat & Tears and Chicago Transit Authority. Keith was the organist and one of the singers of the band and he wrote some of the material. 1980s Wall Street Crash

Wall Street Crash was formed in March 1980 by Keith Strachan. The original members had all appeared in Jack Good's Oh Boy which was shot in ATV Birmingham in 1979 and 1980. The personnel were Ricky Piper, James Graeme, Paul Felber, Colin Copperfield, Sean Harris, Mary Dunne, Jean Rich and Sharon Skelton. They rehearsed for four weeks and launched the results at the Country Cousin Club in Parsons Green, London. They went on to be a well known television and cabaret act in the UK and Europe and appeared on three Royal Command performances.

Mistletoe and Wine 1988

Actually written in 1976 as part of a musical adaptation of The Little Match Girl. When released by Cliff Richard in 1988 the song sold close to 1,000,000 copies and in 2012 it was calculated to be the tenth best selling Christmas song of all time.
