Large As Life (aka Baby Love)
The musical started life under the working title FROM HERE TO MATERNITY. This was considered too punny and was changed to MIXED BLESSINGS. It had a a production under this title at the Westcliff Theatre directed by Millicent Martin. This title had other connotations so it became BABY LOVE for a co production at the Nuffield Theatre and Leatherhead. Baby Love sounded as though it could be the Diana Ross story so it was changed to LARGE AS LIFE and has since its final change enjoyed a few amateur productions.
